Fundamental Biology and Chemistry
At IP Paris we work on developing a quantitative understanding of living systems, meaning one that relies on precise experimental measurements, data analysis, mathematics, physics, and computer science to develop models capable of explaining and predicting the functioning of biological systems.
Our teams work on the study of both eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms, at both molecular and macroscopic scales. The disciplines involved include biochemistry and biophysics of biomolecules, genomics and transcriptomics, basic principles of cell biology and biophysics of development, as well as systems biology and physiology.
