PlenImage - Multimodal Microscopy/Tomography

PlenImage - Multimodal Microscopy/Tomography
Topics: Phase imaging, super-resolution imaging, tomography, 3D OCT (optical coherence tomography), FPM (Fourier ptychographic microscopy), interferometry

PlenImage is a computational imaging platform for multimodal microscopy and tomography (intensity, phase). It can be used for two types of applications: the observation and acquisition of slides (digital pathology) for the development of digital markers, and the prototyping of imaging systems tailored to the intended application.

Equipments

  • FPM (Nikon Eclipse upright microscope)
  • FPM (Olympus inverted microscope)
  • OCT (Santec tunable laser source)
  • OCT (SG-DBR laser source with very high phase precision)
  • Biodigital (Highly secure 3D fingerprint reader)
  • 1 resin 3D printer (Formlabs 3)
  • 1 filament 3D printer (Creality)
  • Computing resources for AI training (4 Dell workstations with 32 GB GPUs)

The imagers are designed and built by the lab with adjustable spatial resolutions and fields of view (~120 nm).

The equipment is operational. One of the OCT devices has not yet been fully reinstalled.

Services and Training

Digitization of microscope slides or biological tissues; development of custom imaging systems (computational imaging or OCT); development of digital markers (with AI integration)
