EVIDENT - Intelligent Living Space for Dependent Persons

EVIDENT is an apartment-style space designed to enable the real-world validation of devices and systems at a very advanced stage of development (pre-production), while ensuring that their installation is discreet and aesthetically pleasing for users staying there for a limited period. This platform is based on the principle of co-design and iterative evaluation in real-world settings, involving stakeholders from various disciplines (social sciences and humanities researchers, ICT researchers, industry representatives, healthcare professionals, user groups, institutional representatives, etc.) This is intended to facilitate industrial innovation and create jobs in the Evry metropolitan area (co-innovation).

• Software for visualizing and logging activity on the touch-sensitive mats
• Eye-tracking systems: Tobii X2-60 Compact Edition, Tobii X2 Mobile device
• KNX sensors and actuators
• Computing equipment: iPad Air, iPhone 5S, Galaxy S7, Galaxy Tab A, IP cameras (D-Link DCS 5222L HD), touchscreen (22-inch)
• NAO V4 robot
