Results of the 2025 My Thesis in 180 seconds competition organised by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris

IP Paris Final, 2nd edition
Ten doctoral students from a wide range of scientific fields gave a brilliant presentation of their thesis topic to over 300 high school students taking part in the national "Cordées de la réussite" scheme and invited by the IP Paris Equal Opportunities Center.
This competition is an original way of presenting research and inspiring young people to take up a career in science. At the end of their 180-second performance, the doctoral candidates took part in a question-and-answer session with the high-school students, giving them the opportunity to talk about research and giving them tips on how to speak for the oral exam that the students will have to take in the next few weeks.
In the evening, our ten finalists once again took to the stage to present their thesis topics in front of 380 people, and a panel of judges made up of personalities from the worlds of science and the arts, plus a schoolgirl.
