Vincent Rapp appointed Executive Director of Hi! PARIS

An AI expert at the head of Hi! PARIS

Before joining Hi! PARIS, Vincent Rapp was special advisor on artificial intelligence to Clara Chappaz, the French Minister for Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy. His expertise and commitment to the development of AI in France and Europe make him a major asset for the center. Her appointment comes in a strategic context: Hi! PARIS has just been recognized as an AI Cluster, consolidating its position as a leading player in research and innovation in artificial intelligence and data science.

A stronger ambition for the center

Under his leadership, Hi! PARIS intends to consolidate its academic and scientific excellence, while developing new initiatives to stimulate innovation and collaboration between research, teaching, public institutions and the business world. The aim is clear: to make Hi! PARIS a key player in the European and international AI scene.

A turning point for Hi! PARIS

Vincent Rapp's arrival coincides with a strong ambition on the part of Hi! PARIS and its founding institutions, HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). Thierry Coulhon, Chairman of the Board of IP Paris, and Eloïc Peyrache, Managing Director of HEC Paris, welcome this appointment and underline the strategic importance of this new step:

The awarding of the IA Cluster label by Hi! PARIS as part of the France 2030 program has confirmed the excellence and high international profile of our academic ecosystem in AI and data science. The arrival of Vincent Rapp as the center's executive director marks a decisive step in supporting its development, with the ambition of training 20,000 students in AI by 2030.

With this new nomination, Hi! PARIS reaffirms its commitment to playing a leading role in the development of artificial intelligence, by placing research and training at the heart of its activities.
