The ‘Nouvelles Avancées’ story contest celebrates its winners at the Panthéon

The 2024 edition of the 'Nouvelles avancées' short story contest organized by IP Paris International Centre for French Language and Culture, aimed at bridging the gap between science and literature by writing short stories on a theme inspired by current scientific events, ended on Friday 25th April with the announcement of the winners at a ceremony at the Panthéon in Paris.
‘‘Institut Polytechnique de Paris is a place of sciences and culture, a French place that is open to the world, welcoming highly skilled foreign students. The idea of this short story competition, inspired by ENSTA, one of the Institute's member schools, is a wonderful concept adopted by IP Paris. In the magical setting of the Panthéon, we witnessed some excellent performances on the difficult, fascinating and scientific theme of time", said Thierry Coulhon, Acting President of IPParis. The President, who opened the award ceremony, also praised the contribution of Francophone students.’
