IP Paris launched a fast-track admission procedure for students already accepted to a U.S. university.

The "IP Paris Fast-Track Admission Procedure," is an initiative specifically tailored for students who have secured admission to a Master’s or PhD program at one of the world’s Top 50 universities—according to global rankings such as QS, Times Higher Education (THE), or the Shanghai Ranking—but who may be prevented from traveling to the U.S. for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year.
This fast-track solution reflects IP Paris’s commitment to scientific excellence and academic inclusion in a time when mobility and access to higher education are increasingly disrupted by factors beyond students' control.
“IP Paris aims to provide a swift and rigorous solution for international students facing administrative hurdles beyond their control,” said Thierry Coulhon, President of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. “This initiative is fully aligned with our mission to promote openness, scientific excellence, and the welcoming of global talent.”
Through this new pathway, the institution offers affected students the opportunity to join its Master's or PhD Track programs without losing a year of academic progress. This ensures continuity in their pursuit of world-class education and research opportunities.
