The finalists of the ‘Nouvelles Avancées 2024’ short story contest are taking on the track

The "Nouvelles avancées" story contest, organized by the International Center for French Language and Culture at Institut Polytechnique de Paris, aims to bridge the gap between science and literature by writing short stories around a theme inspired by current scientific events. This year, young writers were invited to consider the question, "Should time be taken seriously? From Aristotle to Einstein..." The theme proved enticing as over 500 short stories were submitted, compared to 350 for the 2023 edition.
- The four categories of the 2024 competition are as follows:
General public
Secondary School Students
University Students
Francophonies
In each category, three candidates will be honored. - Two additional awards will also be presented:

The winners of the competition will be unveiled during the awards ceremony on April 25th at the Pantheon in Paris.
